You have published your flow and visitors are engaging with and responding to your flow. In this article see how to view the details and responses of your visitors.

(!) You can only see your visitors’ answers if you have published your flow

To see details about individual visitors to your flow, navigate to the Answers tab at the top of your screen.

On the Answers page you have the ability to:

1. See the people who have engaged with your flow and what they answered. Use the table to scroll through your visitors' answers without needing to download a file. At the top left of the screen you will see the total number of sessions. This is anyone visiting your flow, including those who left, and those who made through to the end.

2. Filter your flow’s visitors and answers. Filter options include:

  • Date Range: Filter the answers by a specific date range by using the date range field above the table. To clear the date filter select the ‘x’ inside the date field

  • Flow Version: Filter by flow version by selecting the column and choosing a version from the drop down menu

  • Session Start: Choose to filter from by the most recent session start time or the oldest session start time

  • Session End: Choose to filter from by the most recent session end time or the oldest session end time

  • Session State: Filter by Successful (the visitor completed the flow) or Incomplete (visitor did not reach the end of your flow)

  • Session Duration: Choose to filter by the shortest or longest time a visitor engaged with your flow

  • Clear all Filters: Use the clear all filters button at the top right of the Answers page to reset the filter options in the table below, excluding the date range.

  • Trigger: If you have triggers set up to initiate your flow you can filter by the name of trigger

3. Export session data. Use the export button at the top right of the page to navigate to the data export page to download your visitors data as a CSV.

4. Refresh to load and pull in your most recent visitors. Refreshing only pulls in data based on your current filtering

5.Check out the following data for your flow that isn’t currently filterable:

  • Last Step Visited by your flow visitors

  • Location the flow was accessed

  • Browser the flow was accessed on

  • Device the flow was accessed on

  • Flow Answers - See your visitors' responses. Field answers are sorted by their ID name and are in alphabetical order. If fields have the same ID name they will be aggregated into one column

Frequently Asked Questions

I have two sessions for the same customer listed straight after each other as successful and incomplete

If a visitor finishes your a flow and selects the submit button and there is no redirect button they will be sent to the start of the flow and a new session will begin, listed as a new entry on the Answers page.

I have an iframe embedded flow on my site, why are there multiple sessions registered to the same visitors with no entries?

If you have an embedded flow on your website a session is started every time a user loads the website page with the flow. If your customer is navigating between pages on your site and keeps going back to the page with a flow embedded it will start a new session each time that page is revisited or refreshed. (This doesn't occur for flows that are a modal)

Why do I have a super long session duration for my customers?

If you have an iframe embedded flow on your website a session duration is started every time a user loads the website page with the flow. If a user is reading information on your website this counts towards the session time.
